The Midtown marketing initiative
Midtown Community Works has joined business and neighborhood organizations to develop a marketing initative supporting small businesses during the reconstruction of Lake Street.
At the core of this effort is the MIDTOWN brand. Anchored by such community fixtures as the Midtown Greenway, Midtown Public Market, and the Midtown Exchange, the brand has encouraged a fresh new perspective on the Lake Street corridor between I-35W and Hiawatha Ave.
The latest: MIDTOWN has been named the Best Neighborhood Redevelopment Effort by the Minnestoa Business Monthly, September 2005. This recognition comes less than six months after a successful brand launch in May 2005.
